The Mykanto website is owned by the company Essencial e Transmissível, Lda, headquartered at Rua Dom João I, nº 256, 4450-162, Matosinhos, Portugal with NIPC 515877131.

  • 1. Commercial Policy

    The terms of sale regulate the relationship between the Mykanto online store and the customer, with regard to the purchase of products made through this website.

    For the customer to be able to make a purchase, it is mandatory to provide the personal data necessary for billing and shipping the order, such as email address, telephone number, shipping and billing details and accept the assumptions of the privacy policy and the terms of commercialization of this website.

    The Customer must provide the Mykanto an email address, or data relating to another form of contact, that are correct and complete and accept that Mykanto can contact you using this data, if you deem it necessary.

    As a registered aMykanto customer, you have the right to access and check your personal data, as well as to rectify and delete them, at any time. We understand that you care about the security and privacy of your data and how it is used. Therefore, we guarantee that the processing of your personal data will be carried out with care, so that the relationship between Mykanto and your customers is based on trust.

  • 2. How to buy?

    All orders must be placed online and, to do so, it is essential to have an email account, whether or not you wish to register on the Mykanto website .

    1 - To place your order, if you have registered as a customer in our online store or wish to do so, you must follow the following steps:

    • Log in or register, if this is your first use;
    • Select the desired products by clicking on the “Add to Basket” button and then on “Checkout”;
    • Check the products in the cart: if you want to add more products to your cart, before making the purchase, you must click the “continue shopping” button;
    • If you have all the desired products in your shopping cart, you must fill in the fields presented;
    • Select the quantity you wish to purchase of each selected product, as well as indicate whether you want a gift bag for the product in question, by clicking on the "Do you want a gift bag?" button;
    • Enter any promotional code you have, if this situation arises;
    • Select the desired shipping method and define the shipping address (if you choose CTT) or choose the desired pickup point (if you choose the Chronopost carrier);
    • Define the billing address, if it is not the same as the shipping address (if it is the same, there is no need to change anything);
    • In the “Observation” field you can enter any information that you think is important to transmit to Perfumes and Beauty, if you wish;
    • You must select the desired payment method and then click on "I accept the Terms and Conditions" in order to finalize your order;
    • Finally, you just have to click on "Pay securely" and your order will be completed. You must then proceed to pay for your order, so that it can be validated;
    • After payment is made, you will receive a notification confirming payment. From that moment on, you can check the status of your order in your personal area;
    • If you wish, you can print a receipt with the details of the order placed.

    2 - If you do not wish to register on the Mykanto website , you must proceed as follows:

    • Select the desired products by clicking on the “Add to Basket” button and then on “Checkout”;
    • Check the products in the cart: if you want to add more products to your cart, before making the purchase, you must click the “continue shopping” button;
    • If you have all the desired products in your shopping cart, you must fill in the fields presented;
    • Select the quantity you wish to purchase of each selected product, as well as indicate whether you want a gift bag for the product in question, by clicking on the button "Do you want a gift bag?" ;
    • If you have a promotional code, you must now enter it in the indicated field;
    • Choose the desired shipping method;
    • Next, you must identify yourself: here you can choose to register with Perfumes and Beauty, or, if you do not wish to do so, you should simply enter your email address and state that you do not wish to register;
    • Fill in the fields relating to your personal data, for the purpose of sending your order to the desired address;
    • Define the billing address, if it is not the same as the shipping address;
    • In the “Observation” field you can enter any information that you think is important to transmit to Perfumes and Beauty, if you wish;
    • You must select the desired payment method and then click on "I accept the Terms and Conditions" in order to finalize your order;
    • Finally, you just have to click on "Pay securely" and your order will be completed. You must then proceed to pay for your order, so that it can be validated;

    It is important to remember that when completing your order you accept Mykanto's general terms and conditions of sale and privacy policy.

    To Mykanto , reserves the right not to accept an order. If this is the case, we will inform the user through the email account with which they registered on our website and/or purchased. The decision is made according to the following criteria:

    • There is no longer stock of the product (the order value is refunded, if the customer does not want to wait for stock to be replenished);
    • The shipping address is not valid or incomplete;
    • If it is understood that the products purchased are for resale;
    • If the payment is not identified and we are unable to match it to the order, making it impossible to identify the customer (when the chosen payment method is bank transfer and the customer is not properly identified).

  • 3. Product Quality and Warranty
    A Mykanto sells original products. Information about products is provided by suppliers, limited to Mykanto to retransmit the information made available, by the wholesaler or the manufacturer, in the exact terms in which it is made available to you.

    Product images on the website are the only means of illustrating the items and, for this reason, they may not correspond exactly to the image and color of the products delivered to the customer.

    4. Reservation of Title
    A Mykanto retains ownership of the company's products until you have received payment for all such products

    5. Pricing
    The prices of products presented on our website include VAT at the legal rate in force in Portugal. Mykanto reserves the right to change them without prior notification. However, the user will be able to view, on the order completion page, the price of each product and the total price of their order.

Price updates are carried out with utmost care and accuracy, however the website may, for exceptional reasons, contain errors. If you detect it, we would appreciate it if you contact us. Mykanto reserves the right to cancel your order if an error is found to exist.

  • 7. Shipping and Delivery Times

    After validating your payment, the estimated time for processing and shipping your order is up to 5 working days for mainland Portugal and up to 15 days for the Islands of Madeira and the Azores. The user can view, on the order completion page, the delivery time for the order. Please note that we do not guarantee this period during periods of promotions, sales, Christmas or Black Friday.

    At Mykanto customers have three different shipping methods available: via CTT Expresso (home delivery), Chronopost (pickup points) and also the possibility of free collection at our facilities in Matosinhos. Before finalizing the order, the shipping cost will be displayed in the shopping cart. Regardless of the shipping method chosen (CTT or Chronopost), there are costs for sending orders. The value of shipping costs will vary depending on the number and weight of the items, as well as the destination address (since deliveries to Madeira and the Azores have a higher cost).

    Delivery of your order can also be done in person. We offer the possibility of collection at our facilities, at no associated cost. If you choose this alternative, you must wait for our email and phone call indicating that your order is ready for collection (estimated period of one to five days).

    If you do not receive your order within the estimated time, you should contact us and let us know what happened, so that we can analyze the reason for the delay.

  • 8. Payment Methods

    To be able to pay for the order, the user has the following methods:

    • Multibanco Reference

    After completing the order, payment details will be displayed on your customer page and sent by email. To make the payment, you must go to an ATM or do it through home banking. You must select the option “Payment for Purchases and Services” and enter the data provided. The purchase is only guaranteed after payment, and will be automatically canceled if it is not paid within a maximum of 48 hours. You do not need to send us proof of payment.  

    • Visa, Mastercard, or other cards

    After completing the order, you will be directed to the payment page. On the payment page, select the card type (Visa, MasterCard or Maestro), fill in the form with your card details, click on the blue “Pay” button to validate your payment and complete your order. For security reasons, payment is validated using the 3D Secure code, sent to the contact cell phone associated with the card in question. You have 48 hours to pay for your order, under the condition that it is cancelled. You do not need to send us proof of payment.

    • Paypal

    After completing your order, you will be directed to the PayPal payment page. On this page, you must log in to your PayPal account, in order to fill in the necessary details and make your payment, completing your order. You can also, at any time, select the option that allows you to save your PayPal account details, in order to simplify future payments using this method in the Perfumes and Beauty online store. If payment is not made within a maximum of 48 hours, your purchase will be automatically cancelled.

    • Bank transfer

    This payment method allows you to pay for your order via bank transfer to Perfumes and Beauty . After completing your order, you will see the payment details on your customer page, namely the IBAN to which you must make the transfer. The purchase is only validated after the transfer has been made, and this must be carried out within 10 working days.

    • MB WAY

    To pay for your order, simply choose the card associated with the MB Way service and select the "send money" option. Then, you must select the contact Perfumes and Beauty , indicate the amount to be paid and confirm the operation by entering your MB WAY PIN. Once you do so, we will receive a notification regarding the sending of the money. You have 48 hours to pay for the order, so that it is confirmed.

  • 9. Returns and Refunds

    If you wish to return an order, you should analyze the following situations and ways to proceed:

    1. Cancel the order before shipping:

    The customer has the right to freely terminate the contract, within 14 calendar days, without needing to indicate any reason. To do this, you must:

    • Check, in your personal area, the status of your order in “My Account” and then in the “Orders” option;
    • If it has not yet been sent, you should contact our Customer Service ; 

    Therefore, if your order is still in the Warehouse, we will cancel it and you will receive a notification with this indication. There will be no associated costs for the customer.

    2. Return due to withdrawal

    The customer has the right to freely terminate the contract within 14 calendar days, and must indicate the reason for withdrawal. Therefore, the period for exercising the right expires 14 days, counting from the day following the day on which you acquire, or a third party indicated by you who is not the carrier, physical possession of the good. If you have chosen to collect at Mykanto's facilities, the deadline for returns starts from the day after you receive the automatic email stating “Order in transit”, informing you that the order is available for collection.

    In order to exercise your right, you must communicate your decision to the Mykanto , by contacting our Customer Support at info@mykanto.com or calling us on 227 661 245.

    We do not make returns if the product is not intact, without signs of use and with the original packaging intact. Unless there is some type of complaint about the product's aroma.

    Mykanto is responsible for collecting the product(s) in question and for the costs associated with this collection, in the event that the amount paid by the customer is returned to the customer in the form of a shopping voucher, valid for 1 year, which you can use in the Mykanto store. In the event that the customer wants the money back and not the shopping voucher, Mykanto will refund the customer. However, it will not do so in full, but rather by deducting the cost associated with collecting the product(s). ), the cost being €6.79.

    If the customer chooses to be refunded, refunds will be made using the order payment method or by bank transfer within a maximum period of 15 days after the order was placed. You will be asked for your IBAN for this purpose. However, we may withhold refunds until we have the returned goods in our possession.

    3. Return due to product defect/damage or receipt of wrong product(s):

    If the ordered product is damaged or defective, the customer has the right to return it and this can be returned, as long as it is accompanied by the purchase invoice, within 30 days after receipt of the order. If you have chosen to collect in store, the deadline starts from the day after you receive the email informing you that the order is available for collection.

    Mykanto will analyze the returned product(s) and guarantee their replacement or refund, within a maximum period of 15 days from the date of confirmation of refund, if the complaint is accepted by our services. Refunds will be made by bank transfer, and you will be asked for your IBAN for this purpose.

    In the case of this return, Perfumes and Beauty is responsible for collecting the damaged product(s) or the wrong product(s) sent and for the costs associated with this collection. .

  • 10. Vouchers or Promotional Codes

    Mykanto may make promotional codes available, to be applied to a purchase, during the period indicated therein. Vouchers or promotional codes allow you to enjoy a discount when purchasing a specific product or a set of products, and this discount can only be applied to a purchase equal to or greater than the value of the voucher/promotional code. Codes are assigned to each user and cannot be exchanged for money. Please note that the sale, exchange, donation or publication of a promotional code from Perfumes and Beauty.

  • 11. Responsibility

    Mykanto will only be responsible for damages caused to the customer, in the event that such damages result from breaches attributable to its contractual obligations, or in the event that Mykanto's liability arises from applicable legal law.

    If the customer has suffered damages related to the activity of the website, Mykanto 's liability will be limited to:

    • Damage to products;
    • Reasonable and demonstrable costs incurred by the customer to find the cause and amount of compensation attributable to the damage;
    • The maximum reimbursement of the aforementioned compensation will be (if applicable) the price of the products in question.
  • 12. Applicable Law

    The information on this website is governed by current Portuguese legislation. Purchase and sale contracts carried out through this website are regulated and comply with Portuguese Law.
  • 13. Change of Terms and Conditions

    A Mykanto reserves the right to change, at any time, the information contained in the Terms of Sale. The customer is subject to the assumptions in force at the date of their order, unless the law or competent authority considers otherwise.
